Job Descriptions:
 Paramedic:
- Paired with an EMT to provide Advanced Life Support and Basic Life support Transportation. Administer medical treatment and/or initiate advnced life support procedures according to protocols and transport sick or injured persons to or between medical facilities.
Some requirements include: minimum of 18 years old; have a valid driver's license; current state licensing as a Paramedic; certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS); Emergency Vehicles operator's course (EVOC). New employees have 30 days to obtain EVOC certification.
Emergency Medical Technician:
- Paired with either another EMT of EVOC ecrtified driver, to provide Basic Life Support Transportation. Administer medical treatment according to protocol and transport sick or injured persons to or between medical facilities.
Some requirements include: minimum of 18 years old; have a valid driver's license; current state licensing as a EMT; current health-care provider CPR card; Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) highly preferred but not rquired; Emergency Vehicles operator's course (EVOC) required. New employees have 30 days to obtain EVOC certification.
