About Us: Coastal Health Systems of Brevard is a private, not-for-profit, specialized transportation provider. Coastal was incorporated in 1988 to provide a much-needed service for the citizens and health care agencies of Brevard County. That service is to provide Advanced and Basic Life Support inter-facility transportation that is done with the highest level of care and compassion, handling the patients with professionalism and safety. Coastal has continued to grow over the years and has added to it's menu of services by providing Medicaid non-emergency wheelchair/ambulatory transportation, Mental Health and detoxification transportation, and recently a Non-Medical Stretcher service. Coastal operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week providing services primarily in it's 72 mile long and wider than 13 mile county. Coastal services 5 Hospitals, 21 Nursing homes, 5 dialysis centers, and a variety of other health care agencies such as doctor's offices, radiation/chemotherapy centers, as well as citizens needing transportation from their residences. Coastal operates these services with a host of highly trained, motivated employees committed to providing their customers and patients with a superior service blanketed in a family like atmosphere. While no one anticipates nor favors an injury or illness, you can rest assured that your transportation needs will be met head on by a team of professionals focused on making your medical travel the most comfortable and compassionate experience possible.
