Advanced Life Support Service

Advanced Life Support (ALS) service provides patients in emergency and non-emergency situations with advanced care above the Basic EMT-1 Scope of Practice. Our crew includes at least one ALS provider and one Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). 

This includes all aspects of care at the BLS (Basic Life Support) level plus IV and medication therapy, advanced airway management (intubations, laryngoscopy, suctioning, etc.), EKG monitoring and treatment, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), administration of oxygen and, if needed, controlled substances (diazepam for seizures, morphine for acute pain). Can utilize this service level 24-hours per day, 365 days a year
